What I've Read in 2010

Since 2010 is coming to a close, and I don’t suspect I’ll be finished with the current book I’m reading by Friday, I’ve decided to list all the books I read (completed) in 2010. (This is taken from the list I keep updated on the right-hand column, but that will go away on January 1st to start a new list). Let me know if you’ve read any of these or if you have any favorites.

I’m always looking out for the next Lynsay Sands’ Argeneau Vampire Series and Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series. I may get that way for Kerrelyn Sparks' Love at Stake Series, too (but so far, I’m reading the books my daughter owns, so I don’t have to wait for the next book for awhile). Another anticipated book next year is Brett Battles' "The Silenced", since my name is mentioned (I get killed!!).

I don’t know if I’ve ever read this many in a year before, since this is the first time I’ve ever tracked my reading habits. So for now, it’s a record. Maybe next year I’ll break the 50 mark.

I have read some of these. :)I am not sure how long my list is yet I have been keeping a running total at Gather but haven't added my last few to it.

I've never heard of Gather. I started Goodreads this year, but have no idea how to make lists from it. And I do love to make lists!

That's quite a list! Congrats on so many reads. I think I read 6 for fun and about 20 for research!

Paty - When I read an hour for lunch every day, I can just about get one book a week read. It's the only time I really have dedicated to reading for fun. If I tried writing during that hour, I'd be late back to work every stinkin' day!

There's a few on your list that I've read as well. I'm always on the hunt for good vampire stories, too. I have the first book in the Anita Blake series, but I haven't had time to get around to it yet. Hopefully soon!

I almost broke the 50 mark this year, so my goal for next year is to break that mark. :)

I have all the Lynsay Sands and Kerrilyn Sparks books but only the ones that came this year did I read this year, I've had the others since they were published. I haven't figured out how to make lists or anything yet. I love Christine Feehan and Sherrilyn Kenyon too so I've read all their stuff that was published this year as well.

Jessica - I guarantee once you've read the first Anita Blake book, you'll want to read the rest (cause they just get better & better).

Mary - If you want to start a list, just add a text field to your side bar and add a book each time you complete one. It's not that hard. Now, if I had to try and remember what I read at the end of the year without writing them down as I read it, forget it. My memory isn't that good!

I've heard of Sherrilyn Kenyon, but I may start on JR Ward once I'm done with Kerrelyn Sparks (my daughter owns those and she thinks I'll like them).

Thanks Stacy for reading Ræliksen and for putting it up on your blog. And wow, you've read a lot of books, this year! Here's to a very happy 2011 for you and your writing. BTW, I went to your website and read your story! That was so good! You need to submit!
