Exercising

Wow! I actually exercised yesterday and feel it today. Thank goodness I didn't do a lot (walked for 20 minutes and lifted 8 lb dumbbells in 4 different positions) or I might not be able to do it again tomorrow. That's the problem with starting out. You think you can do a lot on the first day – and you can – but you'll pay for it later. I think I did just enough to get started. I'll know better on Thursday.

I'd like to think I'll stick to it this time. I do have motivation, though. My husband's goal is to weigh less than me. Mine is that he doesn't!

Hahahaha on your two different, yet like goals. I'm gonna have to cheer for your side the loudest. Chick power and all that.

PS: Today was day two training on hot side (prep), and I'm pooped. Already in my jams and headed back to the couch.

Wish I was at home in my jams. Sounds like fun. I only have an hour & a half before I can leave, then another half to get home. I hear my slippers calling!

LOL @ your goal - love it! I finx it helps to do one type of exercise one day, another type every other day. Congrats on starting - you can do it!

Jennette - Yeah, it's not healthy to work the same muscle group two days in a row. Once I start getting back into the swing of things at home, I hope I'll want to go back to the gym later (their equipment is a whole bunch better).

Hi, Stacy. How are you, stranger? :)
I just started getting back to exercising as well. Good luck to you. Me, too! I find myself rushing through because I desperately want to get to the laptop.

Hi, Jimmy! It's been awhile.
Like you, I have to NOT rush through my exercises. At least I can read while I walk on the treadmill, so that makes it better, because I love to read!! Not to mention, make the time pass quicker.

Hope the writing's going good for you! Thanks for stopping by.
