Dragon*Con Pictures - Costumes Galore

Okay, put writing first, then post pictures. I'm only going to make THAT mistake once! Haha!

Here are the photos I took at Dragon*Con of the various costumes I came across. I did attend the costume contest, but none of those people stood still, so all those pictures came out blurry. Here's a hint for anyone entering a costume contest: STRIKE A POSE. Trust me, not a lot of people watching will be able to snap your picture if you keep walking back and forth across the stage! Okay, rant over.

Now, if any of you KNOW who any of these characters are, please share with me and I'll update the picture. And in case you weren't aware, click on the picture and it will ENLARGE.

He had no problem striking a pose for me!

I'm guessing steampunk here.

If they made these costumes, I'm impressed!

I'm assuming with the light sabers it has something to
do with Star Wars. Unless some other show has light sabers.

A pirate wearing a kilt? Okay, to be fair, he said he wasn't
wearing a costume! Haha!

I know this is from "Brave"! Yay!
Do I get any points for that?

I'm always boggled with the kind of costumes
people come up with.

Yes, Oscar moved (couldn't show that on
the photo), so either electronics or a little
person was in that can! Haha!

Can't imagine how this person stopped to
eat! Heck, I can't imagine how he/she
could SEE!
(Update: According to Maria, this is a Dalek.)

Even the blue makeup isn't helping me here.

Witches like Dairy Queen, too (since she
stood behind me in line).

These two are from steampunk Alice in
Wonderland: White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat.
I actually asked them while we stood in
line to see the Arrow panel.

I went to a Karoke party and these two intrigued me.
It's hard to see, but their costumes were made out of beer
cans and cartons. I'm assuming Thor is on the left. Not
sure of the creature on the right.
See, I think I did WAY better than last year when it came to taking pictures. I hope you enjoyed them.

So, if you were to attend Dragon*Con, would you dress up? If so, which character(s)?

The only one I knew for sure was the Dalek. (The guy in the red box.)

I love to see people in costume. I wouldn't do it myself--too lazy--but I love to see what others come up with.

It looked like great fun.

Maria - I guess I'm too lazy to make a costume, too. Or too busy. Yeah, that's it. Busy! Sounds better anyway (heehee). I'll go update the photo. Thanks!

Looks like a good time. As far as that first one, he looks steampunk, she doesn't. Not that I'm an expert on steampunk.

You get double bonus points for knowing Brave.

Jessica - Okay, another one of us lazies! :)

Jeff - I'm not an expert on steampunk, either.

Ivy - Yay! Double points! Can I cash them in for weight loss? Haha!

I wish I could have gone to that...too bad it was across the country from me. Maybe next year.

Laura - If you go next year, let me know. I will most likely go again. It's almost a given now! :)

LOL - that would be cool, eh?
