Pictures of my Accomplishments

Whew.

I was busy yesterday. All because I was avoiding decorating the tree. But I did decorate. Here's the proof:

I took pictures of both sides. Can you see the Steelers ornaments?

But before I tackled trimming the tree, I paid the bills and then decided to clean out my file drawer. Man, I had some statements that went back to 1998! They're all in the basket for the shredder (which is another project ahead of me, but ain't happening anytime soon) and my drawer is much roomier (I couldn't even close it before).

See.. there are some things I will clean to avoid. I would have written, but then I NEVER would have gotten the tree decorated.

And if I was following my Subject Post, there would be a picture of my shredding pile (or even my file drawer), but, uh... no. Some things are not meant to be shared!

On Wednesday night the hubby and I moved our new chairs into the family room. Right now they are side by side, but only because we don't know what to do about the vent (or if my husband wants his chair over it). The plan was to put a table between the two chairs (a table we still have to purchase) so there's a place for the remotes and Kleenex, but that pesky vent is kind of killing that plan. We'll see.

Just ignore the mess on the table.
We have a few laptops, that's all. :)

Anyway, aren't the chairs pretty? I'm not used to sitting so high and the chairs aren't any higher than the couch was. Guess that tells you what state our couch was in, huh?

I don't know if she reads my blog, but Happy Birthday, Mary! Mary is our dear friend who loves to cook for us (and we love to eat her cooking). But tonight we'll be meeting her at a restaurant to celebrate her birthday.

We have the big game to go to tomorrow (Wayne plays in the State Championship game). I'm so excited. It's a day game this time (3:30pm), so hopefully it won't be as cold. Well, it won't FEEL as cold if the sun is shining, so I guess I hope the sun is shining! It's supposed to rain in the morning, so we'll see.

So... What are you excited about? And "Christmas" is a valid answer!

Have a great weekend!

Stacy

Mac - Guess I should have clarified a bit. My bad! "Wayne" is Wayne High School, but thanks! :)

Ooo, pretty tree! Yay for getting stuff done, even if it was to avoid decorating the tree, but now it's done and it's so pretty. I like your chairs. And that rug is awesome. ;o)

I need to ramp up some excitement from somewhere. Right now, I'm flatlined about stuff.

Beth - I think the rug looks awesome, too. My husband wants an OSU rug for the dining room, now. I'm not so sure. Not because it's OSU (I love the Bucks!), but I just don't see it staying CLEAN, ya know? :)

Love the tree. So fun. I'm excited that it's Friday and as I write to you, I'm sitting in the doughnut shoppe.

Ivy - Mmmm... Doughnuts. Have one for me! :)

I'm excited that it's Friday, I get to write tonight (meaning I don't have any other pressing tasks) and I get to sleep in tomorrow. Your tree looks great! Love the ornaments. :)

Nice pics!

I'm excited for the weekend. I suppose, though, we're going to have to do some Christmas shopping.....

Jeff - Not so excited about the shopping, huh? Yeah, neither am I. So glad I got most of it done through my laptop! :)
