Out of Commission -- AGAIN

I had my Wednesday Reads post all ready to go, but forgot to post it last night. So I went to do that this morning after I had breakfast with my hubby.

My computer won't turn on.

With all the crap that's going on right now, I do NOT need this, too. I am almost to the point of throwing it in the trash.

Hubby said I should start arguing for them to give me a new laptop. I know I should. And I will say something. But I'm not a fighter. He'd do better to argue that for me. If I don't get anywhere, hopefully he'll step in.

So now I'm back on TashaYar, but my new files are on BigRed. At least I was smart enough to e-mail my WIP to myself, so I can continue working on Ghostly Interlude. But I wasn't about to re-write today's blog. I only had one book listed anyway. I may eventually have to re-write it (if I can't get BigRed to turn on to back up what little files I created/updated, that is), but I'll wait until the steam stops flowing from my ears.

So... Are you the fighter in the family or do you hand that responsibility to your significant other? Mainly I hand it over because he tends to enjoy it. I doubt I'll ever enjoy it.

I'm with you - I don't enjoy confrontation. But I swear my husband seeks it out sometimes (Never with me, fortunately)!

Good luck with the computer.

Sorry to hear about your computer. That sucks.

I don't look for fights but I don't back down either. I'm not afraid to fight for justice as long as I'm sure I'm in the right.

Jennette - BigRed is headed back to Dell (boo!). At least my warranty doesn't expire until 12/25/16, so there's that. It's getting ridiculous, though.

Maria - When I fight, I tend to get mad. And when I get mad, I tend to cry. I hate that it happens, but I can't control it. Unfortunately, it just sends the wrong message, you know? I don't mind my hubby fighting my battles for me.

Holy crow, Dell really does need to replace that thing for you.

And I would let my wife do that battle--she's much better at it than I!

Jeff - I'd love for Dell to replace my computer, but since it's under warranty until Dec 2016, I suppose I can wait. Still, it's such a hassle having to keep returning it!

Hopefully, you can come right out and ask Hubby to help you, since it makes you uncomfortable.

Ivy - Trust me, if it comes down to fighting with Dell, I'll be handing him the phone! :)
