Wednesday Reads and 8/12ths to my Goal!

Last day of August and my 13th post for the month. Yay! I did it! I also managed to finish reading a book!

Will wonders ever cease?

Probably. The trick is to get 13 posts NEXT month. I’m gone/busy on some of those days (Dragon Con, Rom Con). Hope I don’t screw it up. I’m so close to completing this goal!

Here’s what I read the past week:

August 27: “Crave the Night” by Lara Adrian, the 12th book in the Midnight Breed series, a paranormal romance at 354 pages. Blurb from book: Born and raised to be an emotionless killing machine, Nathan is one of the most lethal Breed vampires in existence. A key member of the Order—an elite group of warriors charged with protecting both mortals and vampires—Nathan must now pursue a powerful, hidden enemy. But his training is no match for the fierce pull he feels toward a young woman he has no right to desire, and who may be the key to rooting out Nathan’s elusive quarry. Jordana leads a privileged life as a member of a prominent Breed family in Boston. She wants for nothing—until she crosses paths with Nathan and finds herself swept into an impulsive, sizzling kiss. As much as she tries to deny her feelings, Jordana cannot resist the craving to be near him. Getting close to Nathan will thrust Jordana into a treacherous new world, but loving this seductive man could be the most dangerous temptation of all. Some new twists and turns to the series. Love it! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

If I’m smart, I’ll download my camera so I can post pictures on Friday and Monday (Dragon Con). At least I can use my phone as a hot spot, so I won’t have to go down to the computer center to use their wifi (it costs to have it for your room—bugger!).

So… Do you think it’s cheating if I only post pictures on my blog? Or do you prefer pictures over writing? Okay, maybe I don’t want you to answer THAT!

Happy Reading!

Stacy

Pictures are always a nice change of pace. As long as it's not all the time, it stays a novelty.

I prefer writing to pictures, but if you just want to go to pictures, well, it's your blog!

Well... My plan is to only post pictures on those days I'm busy. But sometimes I think it takes just as long for me to download photos as it does to write a post! Hahahahaha.

Ivy - Lots of your pictures do have writing on them (the ones you draw!). :)

Linda - We'll see if I can complete this goal or not!
