In this case, the girl couldn't drive the stick, so Hubby drove her around (she was buying it for her husband). It really depends on the people, I guess, and whatever kind of vibe you get from them. But we always meet at a neutral site, never our home. Usually someplace that has a notary so we can transfer the title (so basically, near a bank!). If they want a test drive, do you hold on to their driver's license or do you go with them?Maria Zanninihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01604862636922299273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5917316172488329464.post-7261476394173640112017-06-19T14:25:44.554-04:002017-06-19T14:25:44.554-04:00Gratz on the quick car sale, and thanks for sharin...Gratz on the quick car sale, and thanks for sharing your fun pics!Jennette Marie Powellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00992037939637425401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5917316172488329464.post-39595458325604487942017-06-19T10:40:59.509-04:002017-06-19T10:40:59.509-04:00Jeff - Albany, NY. We had sold my 2000 Nissan Altima pretty quickly, and I'm thinking we probably asked for too little on that, too. But to get asking price ABOVE blue book, that has NEVER happened to us before. We got back 1/2 our money (what we paid for it in 2005). Not too bad for 12 years of ownership!Stacy McKitrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898731847653710759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5917316172488329464.post-23391163830039223082017-06-19T08:56:49.840-04:002017-06-19T08:56:49.840-04:00Is that Albany, NY, Albany, GA, or Albany some oth...Is that Albany, NY, Albany, GA, or Albany some other state? Regardless, I hope you have a good and productive visit!<br />Fastest I ever sold a car was my old Sentra. Sold fast enough (and at asking price) that I suspect I was selling it too low. I loved that car (5-speed manual transmission on a 4-cylinder engine that had much more pep than a 6-cylinder Ford Granada I had for a time) but with a family of four, it was just too small. Good deal for you on the Ranger!JeffOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07947660745120963286noreply@blogger.com
