And the way people are relaxing over this have now scientists estimating 1000-2000 people can die a WEEK until a vaccine is created. I pray that's way over-estimated, but the numbers have never really gone down. They've just been flat and now with businesses opening up, I expect them to go up. But otherwise, today is an absolutely GORGEOUS day and I'm so glad I was able to go out and take a walk and enjoy it. I hope this weather lasts awhile.Stacy McKitrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898731847653710759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5917316172488329464.post-1173619402809686032020-06-11T12:30:19.130-04:002020-06-11T12:30:19.130-04:00That sucks that you don't feel safe going out ...That sucks that you don't feel safe going out to eat, and I can't blame you. We started going out over a month ago, but we aren't high risk, and our county has had a fraction of the Covid cases your area has seen. I went shopping for the first time in months last weekend, and most people weren't wearing masks except in stores that required it. I think people here have a hard time seeing it as real, since so few have been diagnosed.Jennette Marie Powellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00992037939637425401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5917316172488329464.post-28222205850152466442020-06-10T09:49:09.552-04:002020-06-10T09:49:09.552-04:00Alex - I bet it was awesome. They wear masks to protect the customers, but a lot of customers don't seem to want to wear a mask to protect the staff. I understand you can't wear the mask when you're eating, but you certainly can when you're giving your order.Stacy McKitrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898731847653710759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5917316172488329464.post-87001659823978514302020-06-10T06:29:24.541-04:002020-06-10T06:29:24.541-04:00We went out two weeks ago and there was almost no ...We went out two weeks ago and there was almost no one there. People are still cautious. But it was awesome just to get out for a meal.Alex J. Cavanaughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09770065693345181702noreply@blogger.com
