What I've Read in 2011

January:
1. "Beyond the Rain" by Jess Granger (sci-fi romance - sucked me in. I loved it and will get the next book in the series)
2. "Hungry for You" by Lynsay Sands (I just love this series - can't get enough - addicted - you name it!)
3. "I Dream of Genies" by Judi Fennell (a fun read)
4. "Original Sin" by Allison Brennan (Lots of witches and demons. First of seven, I'm sure, and I'm sure I'll read them all.)

February:
5. "Secret Life of a Vampire" by Kerrelyn Sparks (Can't get enough of the series. Only a few books left - must make them last!)
6. "Ice Cold" by Tess Gerritsen (I forgot how good her books are - sucked me in immediately.)
7. "Dance on Fire" by James Garcia, Jr. (interesting story, but not written in a way I like - not a fan of the omniscient point of view)
8. "Heart of the Wolf" by Terry Spear (I enjoyed the story and could probably get hooked on the series easy enough.)

March:
9. "Merchanter's Luck" by C.J. Cherryh (Pure sci-fi, not my normal genre, but I liked it.)
10. "Wolf Tales II" by Kate Douglas (Hot, steamy romance, but I love the stories. I'll eventually get through them all.)
11. "Forbidden Nights With a Vampire" by Kerrelyn Sparks (Story of Phil and Vanda - Funny, sexy, and oh so good!)
12. "Captured by Moonlight" by Nancy Gideon (Well, I goofed with this one. Thinking I was reading the first of a three book series, I read the last. While it was okay, I'm not sure I'll go back to books 1 & 2. I already know how it's gonna end!)

April:
13. "From the Earth to the Moon" by Jules Verne (I had referenced this book in the second book I wrote, so I just had to find out what it was about. It was an interesting read.)
14. "Blockade Billy" by Stephen King (Actually two short stories. I liked "Billy", but "Mortality" was just strange, but then, so are a lot of King's shorts! Just looking for a short book to read and I got it.)
15. "The Silenced" by Brett Battles (4th in a series and the best, yet and not just because he named one of his characters after ME - something I won during the 2010 RT Convention. I had a hard time putting it down and wished for longer lunch hours!)
16. "Demonfire" by Kate Douglas (I like her Wolf Tales books so I had to try her non-erotic paranormal. I loved the characters and the romance/love story. While I got this book free at RT last year, I've got the others in the series in my wish list to buy)
17. "The Midnight Hunt" by L.L. Rand (unrealistic, even for a paranormal)
18. "Don't Kill the Messenger" by Eileen Rendahl (I really liked this and found it hard to put down - and I'm not a fan of first person, either)
19. "The Vampire and the Virgin" by Kerrelyn Sparks (I can't believe I waited so long between books. It was so hard not to grab the next one to read, too.)

May:
20. "Liars Anonymous" by Louise Ure (I enjoyed her other books and I enjoyed this one up to the end. It left me wanting.)
21. "MacLiam" by Renee Vincent (I loved it! Great romantic story.)
22. "Dead Reckoning" by Charlaine Harris (Too long between Sookie books.)
23. "The Kraken's Mirror" by Maureen O. Betita (Not your typical romance. The players are my age - and older! It was a fun read. Zipped right through it.)
24. "Fated" by Rebecca Zanetti (I thought her hero was a little bit on the mean side, but I enjoyed the book enough to want to read the next in the series.)
25. "One Night With a Goddess" by Judi McCoy (It was a fun book to read and if I can find #3 of the series, I'll get it.)

June:
26. "Touch of Fire" by Maria Zannini (Enjoyable read - may try the rest of the series)
27. "Ruby: Uncut and on the Loose" by Danica Avet (I liked it - I like her writing.)
28. "Eat, Prey, Love" by Kerrelyn Sparks (Great book. I laughed so hard, I cried!)
29. "Silent Partner" by Renee Vincent (This book was just TOO SHORT!! I loved the characters - they really stuck in my head. A great little romance.)
30. "Vampire Mine" by Kerrelyn Sparks (Connor's story and another fine book. I don't think I'll ever tire of this series.)
31. "Beyond the Shadows" by Jess Granger (I really liked this book and how the SciFi isn't too technical since it's really about the romance.)

July:
32. "Almost a Goddess" by Judi McCoy (I read the books out of order - oops - but I still enjoyed it even though this was the first book in the series and I read it last!!)
33. "The Reluctant Vampire" by Lynsay Sands (Yum, yum, yum. I just gobble these things up. Love the series)
34. "First Grave on the Right" by Darynda Jones (Funny & entertaining - even if it is in first person point of view, which isn't my favorite. I'll definitely be reading the rest of this series, though!)
35. "True Love and Other Disasters" by Rachel Gibson (First book I ever read of hers and I liked it. Romance was hot, hockey players hotter! Yeah, I love hockey.)
36. "Dark Lover" by J.R. Ward (I have a feeling I'll be consumed by this series for awhile - and I won't mind!)

August:
37. "The Nightmare Thief" by Meg Gardiner (It was hard to only read during my lunch break - and I nearly missed going back to work a couple of times. I hated putting it down!)
38. "Lover Eternal" by J.R. Ward (Oh my gosh! What a book. I couldn't wait to finish it. This series will be read quickly. I want more!)
39. "Flirt" by Laurell K. Hamilton (Took a break between BDB books with this shortie, but goodie. I've missed Anita.)
40. "Lover Awakened" by J.R. Ward (I have a feeling I won't be doing much writing until I get this series read. I love them!!)
41. "Lover Revealed" by J.R. Ward (3 days! That's how long it took me to read this one. Didn't hurt I read during a 5 hour car ride. But I sure loved this one, too. Can't wait for the next one.)
42. "Lover Unbound" by J.R. Ward (V's story did not disappoint. I can't get enough of this series. On to the next!)

September:
43. "Lover Enshrined" by J.R. Ward (Phury's story. A bit on the darker side, but I still had problems putting the darn thing down.)
44. "Lover Avenged" by J.R. Ward (Rehvenge's story, but got back into Wrath's life, too. A much better book than the last.)
45. "Lover Mine" by J.R. Ward (John Matthew's story was GREAT! Can't believe there's only one book left.)

October:
46. "Lover Unleashed" by J.R. Ward (Payne's story, with a lot of Viscious thrown in. Loved it, as I did all the books. Now I have to wait until the next one is published. However will I go on? Oh yes, look at my TBR pile!)
47. "Bullet" by Laurell K. Hamilton (Good book. Lots of sex scenes. What else??)
48. "The Silent Girl" by Tess Gerritsen (I enjoyed it, as I have all her books. I just wish there was more personal life instead of procedural)

November:
49. "The Hellion and the Highlander" by Lynsay Sands (I'm not a huge fan of historicals, but I do like her work. This book was fun to read and I really loved the characters.)
50. "Sexiest Vampire Alive" by Kerrelyn Sparks (Gregori's story - loved it. Had me laughing out loud in places, too. A real fun read.)
51. "Changing the Game" by Jaci Burton (I may have bought the book for the cover - yeah, baby! - but the story did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to eventually reading the other two in the series.)
52. "Time's Enemy" by Jennette Marie Powell (Took maybe a little too long to get to the romantic couple, but the story was intriguing and held my interest. Of course, now I want to read the sequel. Hurry up, Jennette!)
53. "Heat Wave" by Richard Castle (Book was okay, but I love the series "Castle", so I just had to read it.)

December:
54. "Not Another Bad Date" by Rachel Gibson (Very cute story. Grabbed me and held my attention. Quick read, too.)
55. "The Club" by Sharon Page (While I enjoyed the story, I thought it ran a little too long. If it weren't for the cruise, I might not have finished it so quickly.)
56. "Madly, Truly" by Heather Webber (Not a fan of 1st person, but I can be of this series - really easy. This book kept me from writing. Well, so did my headache, but my headache didn't keep me from me reading this book.)
57. "Letters to a Secret Lover" by Toni Blake (made me cry at the end – but in a good way!)
58. "Slave to Sensation" by Nalini Singh (I'm in trouble now - my husband's gonna hate me. I have to have all the books in this series, I liked it that much. I better wait until after Christmas, though)
59. "The Bite Before Christmas" by Lynsay Sands & Jeaniene Frost (Two novellas, one book. I bought the book for Lynsay's story and enjoyed it the most. I'd never read anything by Jeaniene before and I see why now. She writes in 1st person (not a fan).)
