The snow has pretty much melted, but all the presents are bought
and wrapped and "Die Hard" is scheduled for today. We're ready for
the big day. How about you?
It's a nice feeling knowing I have nothing to do but wait.
And because of all my "free" time, this past weekend the husband and
I have been hitting our "To Be Watched" DVD stack. Saturday we
watched "Australia "
and "The African Queen." I had never seen the first and really liked
it. Seen the second numerous times (it's one of our favorites), but never owned
a good copy.
On Sunday, after watching our Steelers LOSE, we decided on a
Bourne marathon with the first three movies (although, the fourth one doesn't
really count as a Bourne movie, now does it? Plus my son said it sucked, so we
won't bother getting it). We really enjoy this series and it was nice seeing
them back to back to back. I didn't even mind staying up until 1 am!
In between two of the movies, I even got my brownies baked.
Nothing like multi-tasking!
Sometime before tomorrow we need to get "While You Were
Sleeping" watched. Can't celebrate the holiday without it (I really love
that movie).
Hope you and yours have a splendid Christmas however you
spend it!

Merry Christmas, Stacy! Sorry the Steelers lost. I guess this just wasn't their year. =o(
B.E. - Me too! However, I am pleased with the season my Rams are having this year, so it's not all bad. Merry Christmas to you, too!
As I told my Steeler-fan husband, "You can't go to the Superbowl every year." We still have a few patches of snow on the ground! I still have a few presents to wrap, so I'd better hop to it. Have a great Christmas!
Those Steelers really sucked it up this year. Maybe next year will be better. Still plenty of snow here, if you want me to ship you some.
Merry Christmas and Yippee-ki-yay. Die Hard should be played every Christmas. :)
I love While You Were Sleeping too!!
Merry Christmas!!
Jennette - If you told my husband the same thing, he'd say "Why not?" Yeah, he expects them in the playoffs EVERY year.
Ivy - Thanks for the offer, but you can keep your snow. You like it a whole bunch more than I do anyway! :)
Maria - "Die Hard" is pretty much played every year! We love that movie.
Jennifer - I think it's a favorite for a lot of us romance lovers!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
It's true, I do fancy a good snowstorm, provided I don't have to leave. And since I'm off work for two whole honkin' days, let it snow, let it snow, let is snow.
Cheers to you and here's to 2013!
Happy Christmas, Stacey!
