Geschlechtsverkehr

Want to know what that word means? Watch this funny video.

Did you see what word it is? Have to say, this video cracks me up every time. Mainly because Victoria, the heroine in Blind Temptation, is from Germany. I don't imagine her speaking like the fellow in the video, though. And she tends to only speak the language when she swears.

Can you tell I was at a loss of what to blog about? Hope this will give you a chuckle anyway.

So... What foreign language did you take in school? I took Spanish, but then I lived in Santa Barbara and was curious what the meaning of many of the street names were! I lived near the street Camino Campana, which I discovered means Bell Street. When you look at the map, the street looks like half of a bell. I thought that was pretty cool.

Have a great day!

LOL. German can be a harsh language.

English was the first language I learned in school. Once I mastered that, I tried French. :)

Maria - I don't think German is any harsher than Russian (and I do have this idea of a Russian vampire that I hope to write about one day). As for English... I think I'm still learning! Haha! :)

I took French, but my daughter is a German major. She says the language is full of compound word, and words that are compounds of compounds!

Jennette - Both of my kids took German in high school (my daughter went on to take three more quarters in college). Have no idea why, because it certainly isn't an easy language (or used in a lot of places). But I still remember when my son recognized the German swear words used in "Raiders of the Lost Arc." And I'm thinking, "You know this how???" :)

ROFL... Yep, not a pretty language. I don't know much German - probably just enough to get into trouble. I took a year of French in HS because I had to have a year of foreign language and French was the only one my school taught.

The tablet won't let me see the video. Hope you're keeping warm. We have the heat on. Good gosh.

So funny! I took Spanish but now, many years after high school, I'm giving ASL a try.

B.E. - My mother took French and she advised me against it. That's another reason I took Spanish!

Ivy - Yes, the nights are getting rather chilly, aren't they??

Jenn - I think I'm too old to learn another language now. I have trouble remembering English! Haha! :)
