I’ve seen people post about their top ten lists of favorite books, but I couldn’t
reduce my list of 92 read books (yes, 92!!) to only the best ten, especially
when I ranked 39 of those books with 5 stars. So, here is the list of books I
gave the highest rank to. The number associated with it is the number of book I
read this year (so #3 would be the third book I read in 2013).

Overall, it was a good reading year. Were any of your
favorites on this list?
I’m debating on whether to make my goal in 2014 the same as I
made for 2013, bump it up to what I actually read in 2013, or lower it (in the
hopes my life becomes busier with my writing). I hate to put undue pressure on
me for something I clearly LOVE to do, but writing will come first. It must if
I hope to be successful at it!
Are you making any reading goals for 2014?

Very well done on all your posts and wow, what an exciting 2013 it's been here on your blog. Super excited for you and looking forward to seeing what you do with 2014.
No reading goals for me. Though lots more bakes in my future.
And if I'm not careful, more pounds as well.
Ivy - We must always be fearful of the extra poundage, right? I fear I'll be starting 2014 way too heavy, but there's all this food in the house...
If only reading burned MORE calories. What a win-win that would be, huh?
Wow. That's a pretty good show for the year.
(Glad I was on the list too.)
Congrats on 157 posts!! Awesome!
Also 39 5-star books is fantastic. Glad you read so many great books this year!
I'm keeping my reading goal around the same, between 25-30. Reading 2-3 books a month is about my speed. :)
Wishing you an amazing New Year! Cheers!
Yes, that would be a win win.
Maria - You deserved to be!
Jen - Glad to hear you're making a reading goal. It's kind of addicting, isn't it?
Ivy - Have fun baking!
Wow! I'm honored to see Hangar 18 on the list with the likes of Allison Brennan, JR Ward, and Darynda Jones! I don't make reading goals, because I always unexpectedly wind up with the odd book that takes me a month to read. Maybe my goal will simply be to keep a list of what I read this year. Happy New Year!
Jennette - I loved your book, so not a surprise it would be one of my favorites! Happy 2014!
