No Wednesday Reads

As I sat down to write this, a spider landed on my arm. Yuck! My heart is still racing. But yes, the thing is dead. Squished by my shoe. Man, I hate those things!!

I really thought I’d have at least one book to talk about this week, but hosting the Sizzle and Sass Facebook page really put a crimp in my reading. Heck, just keeping a Facebook presence put a crimp in my reading. And writing. Well, it’s only one week every 17 weeks (or so). Don’t know if it’s doing any good, but I suppose it isn’t doing any bad.

Man, I’m jumping at every little thing right now. Real or imagined? I can’t tell. Feels real.

So…what makes you jumpy?

Happy reading!

Stacy

I am superhumanly calm with all sorts of wildlife and insect life. --except for scorpions.

Those suckers hurt and I jump like a cat on hot coals.

Maria - I wish I was calm around bugs. Can't do it, though.

I do think spiders are very cool, but they do creep me out a bit. By the way, for a new outlook on spiders, google 'peacock spiders.' They are tiny little jumping spiders in all kinds of groovy colors. Beautiful and cute, and their courtship dancing is fantastic.

Eek I can't stand spiders but flying bugs are worse. They get tangled in my hair.

I LOVE spiders, never ever will I kill them. But I tell ya what makes me jumpy .. paying full-price. The horror.

The screams I hear every night outside my door.

JUST KIDDING!

Jeff - I don't even want to THINK about jumping spiders! **shudder**

Bonnie - I hate it when flying bugs buzz by my ear! Or dive bomb toward my head! Or... yeah, I pretty much hate flying bugs, too! :)

Ivy - The only spiders I won't squish are the ones I find outside. They trespass and are within reach, they die. They live up in the corner where the wall meets the ceiling, I might leave them alone. Depends on how large they are!

Michael - You sure? :)
