I got a surprise yesterday. Dell sent me one of those
automated telephone calls saying Big Red (no, they don’t call it that) was on
its way to me via FedEx. They had just gotten the laptop on the 19th! Then when
we came home after Hubby’s doctor appointment (he got his feeding tube
removed—yay!), we found Big Red waiting at the front door. I thought they shipped
it yesterday, but it shipped on the 20th. I’ve got it all set up (again). Now,
don’t get me wrong… I’m glad to have it back (I really don’t like Tasha Yar),
but I’m not feeling all that optimistic. Big Red has been breaking down after a
week of use. How would Dell know it’s fixed unless they have it on for a week?
Grrr…
Penguins won last night. Yay!! If they win on Saturday, then
they go onto the next round. They’re playing so good and it’s fun to watch. I
love hockey.
So… Saturday looks to be a busy day (hair appointment,
writer’s group meeting, hockey game), but Sunday should be nice and quiet. How’s
your weekend looking?
Happy Friday!

We once had a black widow spider build a web on the underside of our mailbox. It was out of the way of the mailman's hand, so we left it alone. Bumblebees don't generally bother me--at least they're not yellowjackets!
Glad the feeding tube is out, that alone has to give your husband a boost in recovery. The Magpie is coming home for the weekend for a short visit, so that should be nice. Enjoy!
Jeff - I'm sure I'll see the yellow jackets and wasps later on, when it gets warmer. Ugh.
Keeping my fingers crossed that this is the last of your problems. You've had more than your share.
Maria - I think I'll cry if it breaks down again.
Great news about the tube. Are they boring bees? Or other kinds? The boring bees here love to tease the little dog.
Happy Weekend :-)
Ivy - The only things I know about these bees are: they like to fly around my mailbox and buzz me anytime I get near it! :) I was told painting the wood would keep them away. It didn't work.
