Blurb from Book: The elite fire experts ofMount
Hood Aviation fly into places even the CIA can’t penetrate. When
Australian helicopter pilot Jeannie Clark rescues wildfire photographer Cal
Jackson from a raging burnover, she doesn’t know she’s bringing aboard a
firebrand. Cal
is quickly recruited for MHA’s covert operations that reach far beyond the
flames. Together Jeannie and Cal are assigned to an overseas operation with a
lot more at risk than burning trees. And they’ll need all the skill, love, and
trust they can muster if they’re going to survive the heat of this jungle
battle.
My thoughts: You don’t have to have read the others in this series to enjoy this wild adventure. Romance is pretty good, too. I got this book free from some convention I attended. I never really read an adventure before, and it got a bit technical in parts, but it was a good read for me. Glad I finally picked it up!

Hope he's doing all right.
I go to the gym four to five times a week and my wife and I walk every single night. The walk is not only fat-burning, but it gives us a chance to talk.
"So… What do you do for exercise?"
Not nearly enough!
Alex - Hubby is doing well, but we still don't know whether or not he'll need radiation or chemo. Should find out something next week (we hope!).
Jeff - Hahahaha! Me, too, really. I should do more than I do; otherwise I'd lose weight. Right? :)
Congrats on you getting back to it.
Thanks, Ivy!
I suspect you're subconsciously preoccupied with hubby and that's a perfectly good excuse.
Walking is better than sitting in front of the couch, so go you.
I do my yoga stretches but not enough. I work on the farm too which is more than enough exercise any day of the week. :)
Hey, guess what? I got to jog yesterday for 30 minutes.
It was heaven!!!!!!!
Maria - I'm sure your work on the farm puts my weight training to shame!
Ivy - Yay! Can't wait until I can walk outside again. I miss it.
All - Realized this morning I didn't post anything today (Friday). Ooops. I'll be back on Monday. I hope. :)
I bet. Will be nice when you can get out there. Since Ijog half-naked, I'll still mine indoors, but I'm excited to get out there and garden.
A friend from the east coast told me she has spring flowers. Very cool.
No, not concerned with resale value. We are aware of it but really, we've done so much work to make this place our own. And that's really the whole point for us.
Imagine the freedom of living in a place that fits, just right? It's heaven.
But I'll eventually write a long post about it because so many folks are asking. Thanks for being one of them. Have a groovy weekend!
