My daughter is to blame for picking this flick and no one
could tell her no. It looks cute, and funny, and I love cute & funny. Besides,
they're PENGUINS! And those penguins were the best part of Madagascar
We might have picked The
Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I, but my daughter went and saw it last
Saturday, so my husband, our son, and I saw it on Tuesday (discount Tuesday!!).
Good movie. The moviemakers have done a good job with this series. I’m almost
shocked! I loved the books and you know how it is when books are adapted to the
screen. They usually bomb, right?
So…what movies have you seen lately? And did you brave the
crowds today?

Hey all! I'm back from the movies. Penguins was cute, but not a keeper (meaning, I won't buy the DVD when it comes out--although I'm sure my daughter WILL). If you go and see it, pay attention to all the play-on-celebrity-names! I'm sure I missed a few. :)
I don't really remember the last movie we watched at the movie house. It's been too long.
But at home, I've been enjoying 1.2 star Christmas movies.
