That’s right! Ghostly
Interlude goes live tomorrow! Happy happy joy joy! If you can’t wait that
long, you can always read an exclusive excerpt that was posted over at the USA
Today HEA blog on Friday here: https://happyeverafter.usatoday.com/2018/02/23/ghostly-interlude-excerpts-stacy-mckitrick/
. How cool was that, huh?
Today I’m taking my glasses back to the optical shop and
getting them changed to trifocals. I just can’t handle these things on the
computer or reading my book, so I’m not going to torture myself any longer.
One thing these glasses did was trigger a huge mood swing on
Friday. I’m talking rage followed with a crying jag. I was a mess. I figured my
hormone therapy pills were to blame for that so I stopped taking them until I
can talk to a doctor, who I hope to see today, after I turn in my glasses.
Never a dull moment is it? I’m ready for some dull, though.
Honest!
Happy Monday!
Stacy

One more day!
Definitely take the glasses back.
Almost release day--exciting!
I'm getting my eyes checked tomorrow, new glasses soon thereafter--hopefully, I won't have any mood swings!
Alex - Done! Now I just have to wait until next week to get my new prescription.
Jeff - I hope you have an easier time with your new glasses than I did with mine!
You gave progressives a shot. It was obviously not for you. I'm pretty sure I would've been in your boat too had I worn them.
My brain does not take easily to changing my focal length. I tried it once with contact lenses and I was miserable for months.
Congrats! 🍾
Maria - I tried contacts once (back in the early 80s) and loved the freedom, but then realized I wasn't really seeing things all that clearly. They didn't bother to tell me that the soft lenses couldn't handle the astigmatism (and after it took me days to get used to putting them in!). Sometimes I think optical shops are only looking for the sale!
Bonnie - Thanks!
Congrats on the release!!!
And good luck with a different pair of glasses - and hormone therapy! When it comes to that stuff, boring is definitely better!
Jennette - Just putting on my old trifocals, with the bad prescription, is already tons better. But I'll be happier to get my new set with the correct prescription! One week!!!
Congrats on the release! I'm so excited.
