My thoughts: Knocked a star off on Goodreads because...cliffhanger. Ugh. Otherwise, the story was gripping. Good thing I don't have to WAIT for the next one. I already own it!
So… Have you ever read a book and come across the word “kerb” for “curb” and wonder what the editor was thinking? Turns out the book was printed in England and that’s the British spelling. They also use the single quotation marks for dialogue instead of double. Good thing these variations don’t bother me any, but I do find it funny that the last 5 books I have of the Morganville Vampire series were printed in England, yet they were CHEAPER than the American version! Go figure.

How interesting that there were real differences in things like quotation marks in the book you read because it was published in England.
Natalie - I think Australia also uses the single ' in stead of double " for dialogue. Don't know why it's different. It looks strange!
There are a lot of words spelled differently between them and us, like realise instead of realize.
Alex - I'm noticing those, too, now. Like defence vs defense. But kerb is the one that really got me to start looking. :)
