Soon we'll see the cicadas, but I’m not looking forward to that. I remember them in 2004. Didn’t like them then, won’t like them now.

My thoughts: Breezed through this one. I love this series.
So… Are you expecting the cicadas in your part of the world? I really hope they don’t bother our house. We only have the one tree, and it’s only 3 years old and not in all that good of shape as it is. I also don’t think the lots around here had trees 17 years ago, so hopefully they don’t crawl out of the ground here. Lots of trees behind the houses across the street, so hopefully those bugs all stay over there!

We have cicadas every single year. Loud but kinda neat to hear them every fall.
Alex - Cicadas come out every year here, too, but not this many! And I never see the yearly ones. Can't miss the 17-year ones!
We have cicadas out now, but they're not too close to the house, so not bothersome. I don't remember the 2004 emergence, but 1987's was crazy loud! Hopefully yours will be no big deal too.
