I’m still debating (with myself, of course) on whether or not I should put this up for pre-order. My estimated release date is July 18 (my birthday!!) and I’m really hoping I have the paperback ready for the Literary Love: Authors Rock Savannah convention. Nothing like putting that kind of pressure on myself to finish this thing, huh? But preorders? I don’t know. I’ve never done them before. What do you think?
So… Are you watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs? My Penguins (and Golden Knights) may be out of it, but the Columbus Blue Jackets are still going strong. And yes, I am rooting for them. I just don’t like them when they play the Penguins! Can’t believe they went into overtime against Boston in both games, though. In fact, I’m amazed at how many overtimes there have been in the playoffs this year. Just goes to show that all the teams are so evenly matched, huh? I just didn’t think I’d get stressed out over the Blue Jackets playing. Yikes! I’ll just blame it on playoff hockey.

The Capitals are out of it which makes me happy.
My books are always up for pre-order, as are the IWSG anthologies. I think they are a good idea.

Go Blue Jackets!
Preorders are nice so that when someone sees mention of your book before it's out, and knows they want it, less chance they'll forget it later. And they're easy to do, especially if the book's already written and there's next to no chance you'll miss your deadline to upload the final.

Jennette - Yeah, I won't put it up on presale unless I'm CERTAIN I'll make the date. Which means having it ready well before then. So if it's ready in June, I may try that presale thing.
Pre-order couldn't hurt as long as you can make the release date. It's a nice incentive for newsletter subscribers too.
Maria - It's making the release date that scares me. I won't do it unless the book is done (or almost done) by June 15th. I only want to upload the book once.
It's a great cover (Maria does it again). I'll root for the Blue Jackets with you. Even if I do usually root for all things Boston.
Linda - I'm shocked you're not rooting for Boston. Shocked, I tell you!! :D
